from knives to keyboards

"Passionate software developer. Eager to create exceptional digital experiences."

and this is my story

After more than a decade in the culinary and hospitality industry, I developed a deep appreciation for precision, timing, and the ability to perform under pressure — skills that translate seamlessly into software development. In the kitchen, every detail matters; a small misstep can alter the entire outcome. I found the same thrill and satisfaction in programming — transforming logic, structure, and creativity into something tangible.

My first encounter with coding dates back to the early 2000s, when I experimented with HTML and simple scripts out of curiosity. Life and career took me elsewhere, but that spark never faded. Years later, I revisited programming and quickly realized how much it aligned with the mindset I had refined through years of managing teams, streamlining processes, and solving complex problems in fast-paced environments.

Transitioning from culinary arts to software engineering has been both challenging and rewarding. I approach it with the same discipline, patience, and craftsmanship that once defined my work in the kitchen — constantly iterating, refining, and learning.

I bring that same passion and attention to detail into front-end development, focused on creating intuitive, high-quality digital experiences. My journey from knives to keyboard isn’t just a career change — it’s a natural evolution of the creative problem-solver I’ve always been.
